Last week I showed you this quilt that is in the current issue of Fat Quarterly (Issue 9, Kids). Ginger (he's 6) and I made it together as a gift for his teacher. I also mentioned I'd be giving away a bundle of the same fabrics, didn't I?

I suppose I should get on with that giveaway, shouldn't I?
One person will win a FQ stack of the whole Brrr line, courtesy of Robert Kaufman Fabrics. It's not even in shops yet, it's out in June, so you will be one of the lucky few that get their paws on it early (geddit? Like polar bear paws. I kill myself with my hilariousness).

Laurie designs awesome fabric. This is technically a Christmassy line, but so unlike any other Christmassy line I've seen before. There's nothing that really screams Christmas about it, except the red and green, and the polar bears hint towards winter. The lacy doily print looks like snowflakes, but really wouldn't look out of place all year around. And the retro Scandi looking flowers are just awesome.

So, for your chance what do you need to do?
Giveaway closed!!!
Good luck!

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 366 Newer› Newest»How fun! I'd love some Brrr! fabric! I'd love to make a snugly winter quilt that my kids and I can snuggle under while I read them a good book.
I'd use it to make a wintery throw quilt for our couch
I just got some of Laurie's llamas from her Etsy shop and they are to-die-for cute. You can put llamas and polar bears into the same pillow, right? I'd imagine llamas aren't really to polar bear taste as they're a little too furry and gamey as compared to their normal seal dinners.
I'd probably make something for my 3 little Coolbears - my sons. Maybe some stockings for Christmas this year and maybe something for my mum - her b'day is the week before Xmas and she's a Coolbear too. danielle@djcoolbear.co.uk
How cute!
I think I'd make...a table runner & some pot holders...could make great Christmas hostess gifts!
lovely! i would make a winter time quilt for the couch :)
This would make a cozy quilt for our couch in the Winter :)
Me me (frantically waving arm) I would love some, could make a Christmas table runner, using my fav the wonky star!!! Ok putting my arm down now!
Love these - and love Laurie's Llamas, even though the panel one looks like an ex-boyfriend!
I love those polar bears. They immediately make me think of my sister. She's had a love affair with the Coca Cola bear since I can remember. I would definitely use the bundle to make her a little throw. Thanks for the chance!
I'd love to win some of this fabric. Thanks for the chance!
OOoooo, I'd love to be in with a chance for winning the fabrics please!
I love her new next stop london line too.
And I will make a quilt very similar to your one for a very special little girl I have in mind!
Have a happy week! x
I have just been crushing on this fabric. I like the doily prints and the bear is really sweet. It would make a really great quilt for one of my boys... the cobbler's kids always go barefoot, you know! PS I love the quilt pattern... simple, graphic, fun and kids hands!!!
Two friends' grandchildren due in July and September so two baby quilts to make. These fabrics would be brilliant for those projects.
Linda on travjonuk@yahoo.com
Yes please! Hmmm, I'd definitely use some of the bear prints in a quilt I plan to make for my best friend's first baby. And I'm on a massive bag making kick at the mo so maybe some co-ordinating inner/outers...and a coin purse...
eeek, you know how much I want this, it would be perfect for my secret project, not much help I guess, but it would be epic! (channelling my inner 10 year old there!)
I love those hand prints- are they Gingers? a fab quilt and the teacher will love it. if I win I may need to steal that idea!
Oh I'd love to enter thank you!
I'd probably save it for Xmas and use it for making fabric gift bags (they could then be reused for toys, decorations etc)
I'm not a fan of Christmas lines they always seem a bit limiting but this could be used for anything.
Me! Me! Pick me.
Polar bears and Canada go hand in hand, don't you think? I was thinking a quilt for winter, lined with minky or cuddly backing....
Thanks for the opportunity to win.
Diane

Yummy! Looks like stockings and table topper, maybe placemats too. Nah, I'd probably revert to type and make a quilt. Love your borders!
Great quilt! Jack and Jenny is my favorite :) Thanks for the chance to win!
I absolutely LOVE those polar bears!!! I know one little boy who would love them, too!!
I agree 100% that Brrr is Christmasy without being Christmasy! Love this line, but the Donkies/Wellies is my favorite of Lauries!
A Christmas quilt is on my to-do list, and I love polar bears! Thanks for the chance to win such cute fabric.
With Brr I would make a quilt.
I don't have any of her fabrics (yet) but I've been thinking I should...cause she's a fellow Texan!
I've been playing with cut-edge designs on the embroidery machine, using the cut-edge as pocket tops. So... this fabric would make a great pieced bag with the pocket made from the turquoise snowflakey fabric as the pocket with a cut edge design embroidered across the top.
Just the perfect not too Christmassy line to make the winter couch quilt that has been on my quilt bucket list for way too long! Thanks!
I'm loving your hands quilt! I've been planning to snag some Brrr when it comes out--we do 12 Days of Christmas each year for a family that needs a little something, and I usually start with a quilt that they can snuggle under throughout the season! This would be so adorable for that! Thanks!
Love it so much. Laurie, I think, is pretty much my favourite designer. Llama is my favourite print (at the moment!) - I'm making the big scale print into a cushion for my husband who used to work in Peru, and it's where we met too! Juliex
I would make a table runner for Winter and seasonal usage. I would probably do this over the jubilee weekend when all the fun people are at the retreat and I'm not booo hooo
I love how this line is not in-your-face Christmasy! I also adore her llamas and the donkeys in boots. She's so fun!
I would love to make a quilt just like this one with Brrr! Such a cute line! o:)
Love the fabric! I would make some type of quilt that I could use as a Christmas and winter quilt. Thanks for the chance to win.
Love Brr so much. I just can't waitttttt. I also love the dogs in trucks fabric. Still can't bring myself to cut into it.
crlwilkie@aol.com
Oooh, oooh, oooh, me, me, me! I 'm a bear maker, I *NEED* these bears... :oD
Thanks for the chance to win :o)
Ooh, I would love to win this! I have a couple of tiny pieces of the handprinted versions of two of those prints, but I would love to make a big quilt, with bigger pieces, obviously!! Fingers crossed...
R x
I couldn't say what I would do with it yet ... I will some day see a pattern and remember - hey you've got that great fabric in that box that would fit perfectly.
Thanks for the chance.
Hhmm, I think I would make some cheery place mats that could be used year round. The polar bear fabric would be used in a winter themed table runner.
megromeo@gmail.com
There are so many fun Christmasy project I would love to make with these, but I really am in need of a tree skirt. Thanks for the chance!
Love this fabric! Would love to make a Christmas throw for our couch. Thanks for the chance!!
I asked my LQS and they are not goin to carry this line. Bummer. I really like it because it isnt traditional Christmasy fabric.
I totally love this collection and would be stoked to win!
Love what you did with your quilt. I am in need of a Christmas/winter quilt so that is what I would make. And maybe some reusable bags for wrapping presents.
Love that fabric! I'd make a quilt to snuggle under during the cold winter months...brrrrr!
I think my daughter would love this fabric! i would use it to help her with some sewing projects! Maybe her first full-size blanket!
It's so nice to see a seasonal collection that isn't strictly seasonal. I have a niece/nephew on the way as well as a new grandniece/grandnephew. This would be great for a baby quilt with matching diaper bag. Thanks for the chance to win!
I'd love to win this beautiful fabric, thanks for the chance,
Anne
I just adore this fabric! I would make a winter napping quilt to use by the fire because it would keep things bright and cheery! Thanks for the chance to win!
I've been dying to get "my paws" on this stuff! I'm thinking some cool Christmas fort for my nephew. Yeah, I'd make something like that. Or some other winter-related toy. Or stash it like a mad hoarder breaking it out every now and then to pet it and call it my precious....
Awwwe, thanks for the chance to win. I think the colors in this collection are great and would love a chance to play with the fabrics. As I said in the previous post on this quilt, I love what you have done with this quilt. Wonderful keepsake!
Oooh, I've been swooning over this fabric as soon as I saw it a couple of months ago on another blog. It's oh so cute without being too kiddish, and I do love that it is Christmas-y without actually being Christmas fabric. I think that I would probably make some reusable gift bags with it, to stay in our family of course.
So cute! I think I would use this to make a quilt for my sister's new home :)
Leigh Anne
Oh, wow, this are really lovely fabrics. And your quilt looks so beautiful. I think I also would make a quilt. Perhaps even a zigzag one?
I'd so love to make a warm quilt to cuddle in.. it'd go with my other wintery quilt i made when I was in grade 11!
Dearly love the polar bears (or any thing winter animal related!)
Either a cute quilt or reusable gift bags to put under the tree! :-)
i have no idea what i would do except hoard them!!!! actually, several years back (b/c i loathe wrapping and wasting wrapping paper) i started wrapping prezzies with fabric - using pins and ribbons to secure the fabric. we reuse the fabric each year - anything that is green-ish or red-ish works. i keep thinking i'd like to use the fabric to make christmas bags - like jen's drawstring bags (incolororder). so, i'd use it for gift wrapping in some fashion - picture all that fabric under a tree!!
Love, love. Not sure of what I would make but a Winter/Christmas tote might be fun.
I love this fabric, I'd make a quilt for my nephew as a xmas present
I'd make drawstring bags. :)
I wish I was your roomie. I hope Tikki has some of the for sale.
Cute fabric! I really like the Next Stop London though! My boys would love all of those vehicles and I love London. Really cute stuff!
Pillows. I'd love to have them all over the couch for the holidays. The colors are so pretty. Thanks for the give away chance.
Winter fabrics in Spring should feel wrong, but oddly appropriate concidering all the rain!!
I think I'd make a cute set of bunting.
ooooh, maybe a christmas throw, or something special, just for me. No sharing polar bears!
Oh, and I love Laurie's new line coming out soon, Perched. So cute!
Squeal! I've wanted to make a Christmas quilt for years but have never loved Christmas fabric - all of it looks old lady-ish. This fabric is so fresh and fun, I would probably make SEVERAL Christmas quilts as gifts out of it.
Brrr is soo cute and I can't wait to get my hands on some Next Stop London (as I will be visiting for the first time next month...Sooo excited). Since I am a quilty kind of girl, I would be making a nice holiday quilt out of the Brrr.
I don't think it was a line but the fabric with the llamas is silly and insanely cute.
I would adore som Brrrrrr!! I too love the upcoming Next Stop London. So adorable!
What a great present for a teacher, I am sure she/he will treasure it. I think I would make a little quilt for my granddaughter. Got my copy of your book from Amazon the other day - it's really fabulous.
How about wintery quilted hand muffs as Christmas presents for all my friends?!
Cheers, Leigh xx

Ooooo, lovely! This line is so cute! Of Laurie's designs, I have to say that I have special affection for the llamas and flap hats, since my 3-year-old currently wears a flap hat about 22 hours of every day :)
Thanks for hosting the sweet giveaway, Katy!
I think that bear offering up a flower is the sweetest little guy!!
I think that bear offering up a flower is the sweetest little guy!!
I love this line! I'm not much for super-Christmasy things, but this is right up my alley. (Those cartoon polar bears? srsly. SQUEE!). I'd love to piece a quilt from this to festoon upon my couch.
I have friends that work at Coca-Cola and have been placed on the polar bear project to help save the polar bears. I would love to use this fabric to make them a quilt and donate it to them. I think having them hang it up in the office would help give them inspiration that we all care about saving the polar bears.
I love this line! Thank you for the giveaway!
Brrrrrrrrrrilliant idea Missus Monkey. I think I would do something with different sized rectangles making up abigger one. (I presume there is a technical name for this pattern/layoutand I am just too dopey to remember it!)
LoVe this line! I'd make placemats! Thanks for the chance!
I would love to make a table runner and place mat settings for the table. It would look great all year round.
I think I'd make a Christmas tree skirt. Or stockings. Or I'd fussy cut and make some kind of "scenic" quilt......
sweetbeebuzzingsATgmailDOTcom
Ahh! It's awesome, yup, I want it. :) I'd make a quilt, this time maybe one that requires very little measuring - just got done with a very large, complicated project!
Exciting! I think I would have to use part of the FQ bundle to make a charity quilt.
Awesome quilt! I love the handprints.
The bears on this line are wonderful, and I agree - the pallette doesn't scream Christmas, which for me is a good thing ;)
I would love some Brrr - just adore those polar bears. And I love Laurire's Llamas too - they'd both make gorgeous kids' quilts.
First ~ a guilt for me, so neat that the Brrr line could be a Christmas quilt yet used all yr,then an apron for my friend ~ she'll love the fabric!! Thanx!
QuiltinghollidayATaolDOTcom
i love this fabric & think my six year old would too!
Ohh, me me!! I love this line! I think this line is my favorite.

It's gorgeous fabric! I'd add it to the fabric I've been collecting and make a Christmas Cherry Star.
hiyall,
stunning quilt! love the idea of the handprint in the circle. I have been making alot of key fobs with matching cell phone pouches. this fabric would be wonderful for it. (mauh) Liz
Meeee, me me me. I love that fabric, it's gorgeous, whimsical and modern. I would definitely make lots of Christmas stockings and advent calendars with it and this year I will start early so I get everything finished.
I LOVE Brrr! Those bears are too cute.
I think I like BRRR the best so far. Love those polar bears!
I'm trying not to drool over here! I love this line - love the turquoise and red colors. Laurie's fabrics are awesome and silly - I think my favorite is the llama print and I love the tufted tweet chair prints. Thanks for the giveaway!

I love this fabric and have entered every giveaway to win some. So far no luck.
Thank you for another opportunity.
Those fabrics are beautiful - maybe another Christmas quilt - you can never have too many christmas quilts!
great quilt! thanks for the chance to win :-)
this year will be the first year that my husband and i have a living room big enough for a christmas tree so a homemade tree skirt is definitely in order! and what better to make it out of than a little Brrr!
I do love the Brrr line. The red/green/blue combination is great. Kathie L in Allentown
I've never made a Christmas quilt, but I think that's what I'd do with these non-Christmas prints!
I would love to make a quilt out of this great fabric. Thanks for sharing!!
Well I should totally win this bundle! I love all Laurie's fabrics!! My favourite's so far are the Llamas :)If I won I'd have to make a Christmas quilt to keep and a quilt to give away...probably to Siblings Together as I seem to be on a roll on that front ;)
I'd make a tree skirt with it. How can anyone resist those adorable polar bears??
OMG Laurie's fabrics are amazing. I am still in love with the chairs and donkeys.

Oh, my favorite of her lines is definitely Brr! :D Thanks for the chance to win!
I'm not sure what I would make but as you're drawing a winner on my mum's birthday maybe I should make a quilt for her?

JKL052095@aol.com
Wow very generous giveaway. I love the snowflakes and the bears and the little abstract flowers. I think these would make a great quilt for snuggling under to watch Elf our family favourite Christmas film.
I like most of her fabric but Brrr is probably my favourite so far. I'd make a quilt as the kids fought over the Christmas quilt I made last year so another wintery quilt would be good - although knowing my pair they would probably both love the polar bears and so there would still be arguments!
Thanks for the chance to win
My DIL LOVES Christmas, but my son is a bit of a Grinch. In a funny lovable way but still. I would make Kelly a Christmas quilt from this fun fabric that would not take my favorite son over the edge of Christmasy-ness. :0)
Gayle
I am a huge fan of Laurie's llama line in her shop!
I love those polar bears - I would make a cute little pouch (or two!).

I love Laurie's donkeys in wellies fabrics. Brrr is so lovely too! My daughter would love me to make her a quilt with those sweet bears!
Aww I love this line. I would have to make something for myself and then use a couple of the non polar bear prints for jam jar tops (well chutney) in true Christmas present spirit.
I would love to win this line of fabric. The polar bears are just the best! I have a couple of table topper quilts in mind that would be just perfect for this line.
I just think I might need to make another Swoon using a solid color background that is not white if I won this beautiful stack. This is my favorite line of fabric from Laurie.
Love it, love it! Nice & wintery, just like the weather!!!
I loved Tufted Tweets, so naturally Perfectly Perched is high on my favourites list, but those Polar Bears are just tooo cute!
Thanks for a great giveaway!

I would sure love to win this giveaway! All of Laurie's fabrics are just great! As to what I would make......one of my oldest and dearest friends was born on Christmas (which I always felt was a bad deal for her) so I qwould make her a Christmas quilt with this as a birthday gift.
I love love love this group of fabrics. I'd make a great throw for my best friend. Thanks for the chance. aschaefer24 at yahoo dot com
I don't really like the standard Christmas fabric. Santa, trees, snowmen, and Rudolph do nothing for me. But i really like her version here! What would I make? Hmmmm...ptobably curtains for my boys room. Thanks for this chance!
Gorgeous fabrics! Robert Kaufman fabrics are always gorgeous. Love this line and my granddaughter would love a new quilt for her bed out of these colors!
Definitely I want some Brrr!!!! The colors are so bright and the design is gorgeous. The polar bears are great!!! I would make a Christmas quilt....Beautiful!!
With a baby due in the fall, I'd make a carseat blankie! It makes me smile just thinking about it :) Thanks for the chance!
It's just coming up to winter here in Aus, so I'd make a few gorgeous reversible pinafores for some lovely babies I know, and for myself I'd have to make a cosy couch quilt for snuggling in front of the fire. What a gorgeous gorgeous range of fabrics. I just love them!
I love the Modern Whimsy line - such fun prints and colors, especially for a baby quilt.
Amy
amy(dash)elisabeth(at)hotmail(dot)com
absolutely gorgeous fabrics! I would make an apron, just because I need a new one and have been thinking about it for days!
sweet day to you ♥
I love this line. And i've been meaning to make a Chrismas/Winter quilt for ages . So that is what i wouuld do with it. The only questions would be ... to tkeep it or give it away?
When I read Brrrr, I thought of Christmas and I'm just not a fan overtly Christmas-y prints, so I think these are fantastic for year round! I'd be thrilled to have them :)
I would love to win this fabric. It is so stinking cute. I would use it to make a quilt. Thanks for the giveaway!
