Bunting, Bunting Everywhere...and a poorly girl

I have had an order from a local shop to do some kid's bunting and lavender filled hearts. Forgetting the Easter holidays were about to start, and not taking into account the strong possibility of poorly child (as is often the way during a holiday) I haven't really got very far into the order. But yesterday, after a sudden spurt of energy/concentration/effort (delete as appropriate) I finished the 12 sets of bunting and put them into cello bags, and stamped 'bunting' onto binding to seal the top and finish them off(just in case someone couldn't tell what it was in the bag).

My baby girl is poorly though - she has taken over the sofa, TV on permanently, tissues by her side, and a duvet over her. She actually looks poorly too, and is feeling very sorry for herself. Her eyes have puffed up, her nose is red, she can't sing (that's a great sadness in itself for my little song bird), she croaks when she talks. This is the girl who will get up in the night to be sick in the toilet, go back to bed, and tell me in the morning. She's made of strong stuff, she doesn't 'do' sickly....I think this must be serious.

Your poor girl. It's so sad when they are really sick :(
Bunting looks great...how did you do yours?
I did mine double sided, pinking sheared the edges then did a straight seam, then finished binding them together with ribbon, but they look a bit ...I don't know...wonky?
Well done on finishing 12 sets...now that is sweat shop sewing!

wow - 12 sets.
Your poor little girl. Fancy not being able to sing. Jemma would be miserable if that happened to her ! Hope she gets better soon.

Hope your little poorly one gets better soon - Dorothy has been poorly since Tuesday evening (last week) and still isn't getting much better - just flomping on the sofa with a sore throat and headache!

Sad. It always seems to happen when they have no school or on a trip. I have done Disneyland with sick kids. Drug them up and keep on trucking. I hope she feels better soon. She has some fun stuff coming from Texas soon.
